Running 24x7 Mental Health Helpline

The Dopamine Foundation in association with Kanodia Alumni Association has successfully worked out the implementation of a groundbreaking initiative: the Running 24x7 Mental Health support program for children. This initiative is specifically tailored to address the heightened stress and anxiety that children often experience during exam periods, providing them with a dedicated platform to express their feelings and receive support.

In today's competitive and high-pressure academic environment, children are frequently confronted with overwhelming expectations and peer pressure, leading to heightened levels of stress and anxiety. The Running 24x7 Mental Health support program aims to alleviate these burdens by offering a safe and confidential space where children can freely share their concerns, fears, and anxieties.

Trained professionals and volunteers are available around the clock to listen to children and provide them with empathetic support and guidance. Whether it's exam-related stress, academic pressure, or challenges in their personal lives, children can reach out to the program at any time, knowing that they will be met with understanding and compassion.

Importantly, the program recognizes that many children may find it difficult to articulate their feelings or seek help due to societal stigma or fear of judgment. Therefore, the emphasis is placed on creating a non-judgmental and supportive environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves without fear of repercussions.

Through this initiative, the Dopamine Foundation and the Kanodia Alumni Association are not only providing immediate support to children in distress but also fostering a culture of mental health awareness and advocacy within the community. By addressing the root causes of stress and anxiety and offering proactive support, the program aims to empower children to navigate life's challenges with resilience and confidence.

TB Testing at Udaipur, Rajasthan under National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP)

Under the National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP) in the state of Rajasthan, the Dopamine Foundation has stepped in to address a critical need at the District Health Facility, Udaipur by providing essential manpower support to increase testing rates. The shortage of personnel had led to the unfortunate situation where high-end testing machines remained idle, depriving the local public of vital testing and screening services. Recognizing the urgency of the situation and the importance of maintaining these services, the foundation sponsored lab technicians to ensure that the testing process could continue uninterrupted.

By deploying additional manpower to the TB Center, the Dopamine Foundation has enabled the utilization of advanced testing equipment to its full capacity, thereby maximizing the center's ability to diagnose and treat tuberculosis effectively. This intervention not only ensures timely access to testing and screening facilities for the local population but also helps in the early detection and management of TB cases, ultimately contributing to better health outcomes and disease control in the community.

Moreover, by sponsoring lab technicians, the foundation has also provided employment opportunities and support to skilled individuals in the region, further contributing to the socio-economic development of the community.

Overall, the Dopamine Foundation's intervention at the TB Center in Udaipur highlights its commitment to addressing healthcare challenges and improving access to essential services for underserved populations. Through strategic partnership with the government and targeted support, the foundation continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities in need.
